Return the unit to Lowe's for a replacement; but call customer service & let them know you are coming. If you pre-arrange the return, things will flow smoothly, & you will be out quicker.
You should have a warranty on your situation and if you do go back to the store and get what needs to be done they are really good at helping you with your items if you purchase them from them as well as give you a refund or exchange
