I don't think so. There is a group in Wallingford and Ansonia... they may accept Husky Most pain management drs dont par with Husky, as Husky doesn't cover alot.
Do not think so. I had asked if I wasnt able to afford reg insurance and was told my doctor there didnt. It's very hard to get into pain management with husky. For some reason they dont take it.
The reason they don't take Husky anymore for pain management is simply this... If you need it you are either sent somewhere that won't help or sent in a circle in your medical team... Keep looking until you find one that will help with a solution not add to the problem. Also there are very affordable insurances these days and if you need pain management and are not elderly/disabled and on medicare and/or Medicaid most insurances dont cover it anymore sadly because of the pain pill epidemic that is out there..! Be vigilant ask you doctor questions. There is a place in waterbury called the arthritis center of Waterbury it may taake husky ..it used to. You can call and find out. I use a ladder of nsaids ibuprophen 800 and Tylenol 650 as well as my pain medication and still have a little break through pain and definitely get locked up in my spine neck shoulders and low back and hips all my joints hurt we tried everything before resorting to medication management. I am on a fairly low dose.
New Pain Solutions in Milford and Orange DO accept Husky for pain management.
