Dr. Robbins is the 3rd pain management doctor I have seen prior to and after my spine surgeries. I had been in chronic debilating pain for years until I found him. He is familiar with and practices current technologies and treatments for pain, very calm, personable, explains everything thoroughly and an all around nice guy. He literally gave me my life back. I can't praise him enough.

Dr. Ligham is top-notch and wonderfully kind with a great bedside manner. When they say on their website that they do things differently, they really do! He sat with me for over an hour and really got to know me, my pain, my goals, and we decided on a treatment plan that had both his and my input. I am so excited to work with him and improve my pain and quality of life. I can't say enough positive things about my visit and hopes for the next steps, which will start soon.

I've been going to advance diagnostic pain treatment since 2013. My neurologist recommended the group. He wanted me to see Dr Robbins unfortunately at the beginning He wasn't taking new patients and I had to see a different doctor who I didn't particularly care for But he did leave the practice. Although I loved seeing the PA's. When the doctor left the practice I was able to get in with Dr Robbins who is phenomenal! I love going to advance diagnostic pain treatment center. Dr Robbins is great. Along with the PA's Andy McDowell is my favorite I see him most of the time and then I see Dr Robbins maybe four times a year I try not to see him every month unless I have a major issue going on since I basically have issues that will not be cured. Is medical assistant Sue is The nicest person I've ever met. I have lots of doctors in Connecticut I've only been living here 7 yrs believe me at lot of my other Dr's offices many of the employees are not pleasant. I wish everyone could be like Sue. I think some people just don't give advance diagnostics pain treatment center a shot. You have to follow the rules especially with everything going on nowadays with people abusing control substances. We might not be abusing them but people might be able to get into our stuff for steal them etc. So just do what you need to do and there won't be a problem. All prescriptions are sent electronically that's the law to have of prescriptions by any doctor even your family doctor to send an antibiotic everything must be sent electronically.

The nurse named Sue Barry is very nasty and unprofessional to the patients! She speaks very rudely to patients and even walks away mid conversation! She is a poor representation of the business!

I don't think so. There is a group in Wallingford and Ansonia... they may accept Husky Most pain management drs dont par with Husky, as Husky doesn't cover alot.

What I was trying to say in my message was that they were giving me one script the day I went and then faxed 1 to the pharmacy for the next month now only one month just wondering if this is happening to anybody else thank you just got it straight from the pharmacist it's up to pain management so they either don't trust you or they want to make more money it's not the laws ! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Does the Yale Pain Center subscribe to the use of medical marijuana for the treatment of chronic back pain when the patient is unable to take NSAIDS due to colitis?

Jennifer Rogers | Oct 14, 2018

No , they do not work with medical marijuana as an alternative or in addition to pain medication. One of the Drs. does approve of CBD oil IF this will help you. Some of the CBD oils are expensive however ( didn’t help me at all- frustrating!) and can cost $60 or more for a small bottle. I wish you the best getting out of chronic pain. I know how very hard it is.

New Solutions in Milford and Orange Do subscribe to marijuana for treatment of chronic pain. It cost 150.00/up front and once u go to dispensary, you pay additional 100 dollars and wait a few weeks for your medicinal marijuana card. And yes, you can go there for medications also. And they do take Husky.
