My father was a devoted mason with the renaissance lodge in NYC. His favorite grandson, my son, the one he gave all masonic everything to, passed away at 27. Please help. I feel now the legacy is over and need advice with what to do with it all. HELP

Ask one to be one. Visit for a tour and the guides will be able to direct you in the right direction.

You can email the Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of NY to ask if he will provide the details of your father's home lodge (including current Lodge Secretary's email) and then you can ask the lodge if you may bring the Masonic items by. They may want some of it for their historical purposes. As long as YOU are of sound body, mind and believe in a higher power you can petition a lodge for membership. Lodges routinely initiate older brethren (60+) so please don't feel as though anything is "over" until you perform due diligence.
