Okay on here it says that a 16 year old with. Can get a tattoo, which I know for a fact is the law in Maryland. My daughI called up the shop and asked about getting a tattoo for her and the lady who answered the phone told me she had to be 18.

Honestly, its entirely up to each individual artist. Just like a piercer, its their choice if they want to persay morally pierce a minor.
