I agree with Nicole. 18 to go by yourself with proper ID, and 16 with a parent or guardian and you should both have ID. If it's your first piercing of this caliber please bring at least a friend if not parent; you dont know how you'll react, and I wouldn't want you driving if you faint! <--speaking from experience, most piercings are fine but for one I nearly did pass out on the way home
