Its a lot better to take the metro and walk or rent a scooter the traffic is pretty bad and parking is not a good choice

There is some street parking around. On Sunday it is free. But it is best to take a subway. DC subway is much cleaner than NYC

Street parking on weekends its an option, but might have to fight your way in with food trucks 🙃 best is to use public transportation that will cost 10% of a parking lot price. But if still u want to take your car, use apps like Spot Hero to get a 12hr spot for ranges from 12 to 20$. We use thisnone and walk around, price is usualy around 13$ for a good 12-14 hrs window. Spot: 321 Virginia Ave. SW - Garage (Lot 177)
