Eggar, listen to me, go there 3am except Wednesdays, if there are already 5 people there, then come again on the following day. The passport office accepts 5 walk-in applications per day. Just take all required documents, download from the website the application form fill out, bring a passport photo and the fee in cash. Good luck.

When you are finally allowed in you will be given the list of extra items you should have brought, which is not printed on the website. You will have 15 minutes to run to a photocopy shop to try to receive, print, or copy them. Bring your running shoes, laptop, and portable printer, although you will have to check all electronics at the door.
