They also take calls from the warm line when they aren't busy. I heard them on the phone and asked who they are speaking too because it wasn't me at the time and I was standing in front at the desk. Unfortunately to many hurting hearts and not enough resources. If you can go private insurance it is best but for the rest of us just wait your turn and try to be patient.
It's the 'nature of the beast'. All SMI, primary clinics are like this now. File complaints, not just with the clinic, not just with MMIC, with AHCCCS as well. Even file complaints at Arizona Department of Health Services. That is the 'chain of command' since the the Department of Behavioral Health was dismantled, a few years back. We need to be self advocating, and remember, no one else will do it for you !
I've never had a problem. When a person answers after the auto info, just ask to talk to your case manager.
I know how you feel. I have been a client 10 years and even through better insurance they were never easy to get a hold of. These days if they respond to you within the day or later in the week it's nothing short of miraculous. Good luck. Keep calling...keep complaining every day, especially if you have the coordinator for your team. Keep on them and whoever else will actually help. Good luck.
I've never had a problem getting anyone on the phone.
Are you calling Oak Clinic or their Admit #?
