This place is amazing! If you are serious about your recovery or situation in which, you find yourself searching for such a place, than this is the foundation you need and subconsciously yearn for. House of Refuge is faith based, their main concern is assuring that an individual is properly equipped with basic and advanced life skills needed to ensure one's success, in every sense of the word. Some of the key differences and or benefits of House of Refuge are as such; they will keep 15% of your weekly fees and return said percentage to you upon completion of the 120 day program. There are case workers who assist with budgeting and counseling. They Will help with purchasing a car, I mean, the list goes on and on!! Please consider your dedication and or lack thereof before considering House of Refuge May God's will be done in your life!

This place is amazing! They give second chances to people who need someone to give them a hand up, not a handout. They offer a path to success, but it's up to them to walk on that path or to get back on the same ones that led to the wrong places. I went to check it out myself and I was highly impressed with the drive and passion these people have to get on the straight and narrow. We all make mistakes but we don't need to be defined by them. They may affect how we view the world, but they don't need to affect who we will become.

I was shown love and respect. Staff is caring and loving. Certainly God's love is shown by their daily walk. Highly recommended.

Was goin to hav an interview next week, after reading these reviews, my vehicle sounds better. How can you charge homeless people for funds when you're federally funded and receive many donations, that is sad. If it were saved for the person once they leave they'd have that money for rent, deposit, furniture, etc. But to keep it and not put any $ aside for the person is horrible and not Godly

I don't know if they do. Call them. Or call 211 the community hotline for emergency and transitional shelters
Jesus wouldn't turn you away so why should they? Step out in Faith and if it doesn't work out then the Lord has other plans for you.

Family Promise of Greater Phoenix can help. https://familypromiseaz.org/
I know someone in the same position right now. Do you mind if I tell him about this post and maybe you could help each other out.
During my stay, clothes were donated to the program. Often times they would notify people(especially eager job seekers) of the clothes and allow the tenants to pick something out that they'd like or could actually use. You can sleep soundly knowing your donation with to a good place with appreciative people😁
Yes its available for working men
If you are just looking for a room, go to the Y, but be prepared for a wait; CASS is an option, but there are SERIOUS tradeoffs you will have to make; The Salvation Army might be another, better option, but it all depends on what type of program they are running; House of Refuge is Christian based, long term(1yr), with the focus on learning the Bible and Biblical values, and working.Totally worth it, in my opinion. Stay Blessed!
For the men on campus 9pm. House men 11pm
Yes as long as you can pass a drug test, have a state ID and are willing to work full time.
