My certified mail package containing my passport is sitting at the Philly Dist center now for 3 days without being delivered, why??? No one answers the phone either
If your package is at the processing center then it's being sent out, it comes from the station you went into to send it, to the distrabution center to the next station of the area it's going to then the mail man gets it and delivers it. If there's a problem it's likely to of happened at one of the stations. So I would call them. The original station you sent it out at... I work at the processing and distrabution center, and I can tell you it's not sitting there, the place runs like a well oiled machine 24 7.. It never closed.. Not saying there perfect, but I know a package would not sit around for a week without someone noticing, there's way too many employees.. Ive had my packages late and it mainly happens at the stations...
