Certified Mail with Return Receipt mailed from Temecula, California on 9/25/18, delivery to PO Box 71052 for the IRS. USPS tracking says it arrived on 9/29/18, waiting for IRS agent pick up. Today it's 10/8/18. What's happened to my mail?

I'm not sure All mail is handled with PRIORITY Mail is scanned for departure times etc Have you contacted the IRS&your local USPS OFFICE The Lindbergh Ave is only a STOP for your mail GoodLuck
