The Ballpark in Arlington was the original name of the stadium when it opened April of 1994. The naming rights were sold to Ameriquest changing the name to Ameriquest Field in Arlington. When the company went under because of the mortgage scandal, the stadium was renamed Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Her last years as a baseball park were under Globe Life Park until it was closed down as a baseball field.
