We loved the fish & chips for years but today we noticed a change in fish. The texture of the fish was quite different and the coating fell off easily. We think the fish has a different texture than cod normally has. The coating was very wet under.

Bummer. Last week was fantastic. Bad day maybe.

There are times when the fish hasn't been thawed correctly, giving it that wet like heavy feel. And yes, it is seem more typically when there's a rush or heavy traffic. All in all, it is still one of the better places to get decent seafood.

I've gotten it that way when it was very busy and I felt that it needed to be cooked more. It was the same as the 20 years that I have been going there.
