Why you are surrendering, how long you've had the pup, and sign some papers and done. When i surrendered one the lady was mean, rude and disrespectful - just a heads up on that aspect of it
All the comments above are false. All you need is to be a GP resident and bring your ID. Yes, surrendering a dog might prevent you from being able to adopt again but if you can’t keep them it’s a good choice. As for time they keep animals; they’ve kept dogs for up to a year before. It just depends on the dog(health, space, and behavior). If the puppy is not 2 months yet they will wait until they can you up for adoption, but they don’t go to a different site.
Yeah my sister tried to adopt and did state one of the women who works there was rude and disrespectful
Actually if you bring in a puppy or puppies they go to a different site. They are ready for adoption. If you bring in a old dog if its not adopted with in 7 days its put down. I believe all others are put down after two weeks.
They usually keep it for 2 weeks and then put it down. Sometimes less depending on how crowded
