A comple waste of time because apparently my texas ID isn't enough to adopt a pet. They didn't even ask me if i could show them a proof of residency which i HAD. They etermined my aunt should come in person to buy me a cat? Does that make any sence?

Just because it’s a full shelter doesn’t mean they will adopt to everyone. The animals need to go to good homes and a good home wouldn’t have any problem with verification. They just want to make sure the pet won’t be back and will get the love it deserves

So if you didn't show them proof of residency, how did they know you lived with your aunt? 😞
