The Oklahoma city animal shelter has dozens of small dogs for adoption. When I adopted my dog 3 weeks ago the Edmond animal shelter didn't have any small dogs. You can also look online at http://ok-edmond2.civicplus.com/884/View-Available-Dogs
If you don't find one at the shelters, go to Pet Angels Rescue Adoption Center in Guthrie. They have dogs of all sizes and breeds. Check out their Facebook or website. They are a wonderful group of people who really care about animals. Dana founded the rescue that she basically started in her home from her love of animals. She is a true champion of animals.
