Both the 151 (Sheridan) and 156 (LaSalle) stop right by the zoo. It just depends where you are downtown (151 runs up Michigan Avenue whereas 156 runs up LaSalle Street from the Loop). You can get off on Stockton either at the south end by the Brauer gate, or the next stop at the West (main) gate. Alternatively, you can also take the 22 (Clark) or 36 (Broadway) buses that run up Dearborn Street from the Loop. They both run along Clark Street by the zoo and you can get off at Armitage and walk one block east to the Brauer gate entrance.
Take Bus #151, it’s the one thaf goes (and returns) to the nearest stop (stockton and webster). We took it from near the millenium park.
Clark or LaSalle. Just ask a bus driver...
151 is the bus you want, you can also google all the bus schedules and that will tell you exactly which ones stop where
You have several choices but ultimately it depends where you start. I find Google Maps interfaces well with CTA bus routes.
I take 151 from Michigan and Randolph to Lincoln Park zoo and back to Michigan and Randolph
Take 151
I use Clark 22
36,22,151,156. There is also bikes to rent and scooters. Ride by the lake is cool
So many options. 36, 22, 151, 156. Could take the Brown line up to Armitage if you don't mind walking a little.
