Here are some things you’ll need or may want to use during your stay: - Your insurance cards - A nightgown or pajamas, a bathrobe, slippers and/or toiletries - Assistive devices (hearing aids, a cane, and/or dentures) - Stationery, pens, reading materials, a laptop computer and/or a portable media player with earphones
For sorta quick procedures (out-patient) we think a small bag of necessities is really all you need. However - if it turns into something longer, bring a complete change of clothes and phone charger.
That depends on your projected length of stay. I had to stay 1 week exactly, following my surgery, and to be honest, didn't find a need in anything but my robe, spare underwear sets, and some basic toiletries. The latter items, however, are daily supplied; I mean even a toothbrush and toothpaste, unless you have a preference for your own stuff (I did). That's about it. Good luck!
