For sorta quick procedures (out-patient) we think a small bag of necessities is really all you need. However - if it turns into something longer, bring a complete change of clothes and phone charger.

That depends on your projected length of stay. I had to stay 1 week exactly, following my surgery, and to be honest, didn't find a need in anything but my robe, spare underwear sets, and some basic toiletries. The latter items, however, are daily supplied; I mean even a toothbrush and toothpaste, unless you have a preference for your own stuff (I did). That's about it. Good luck!
