45 minutes on average if you are reading all of the exhibits.
If you're truly obsessed and read and take pictures and discuss and it's your first time you can take a couple hours. We did. But we don't have any children so that might be part of it. Those with shorter attention spans or return visitors probly won't take nearly that long. It certainly won't eat up a whole afternoon, no matter what.
Possibly not even more than an hour. It's very small but the stuff in there is super cool. If you're taking time to read and do every little thing and watch the researchers work you *might* stretch it to 2 hours but even this might be an overestimate.
I agree that 2 hours should cover it even if you carefully examined everything. Watching the researchers is one of the most interesting parts, so your time might vary depending on what they are doing.
