A thoughtful, charming, and powerful tribute to the early history of Mexican communities within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Free admission and a friendly docent, with a nice mix of historical artifacts, journals, photos, and more.

We walked in expecting very little. I went with a group of lovers and friends, and all we can say is wow. Wow wow wow. - amazing animatronics -great tour guide -mystery -“wax” figures -next level puppet technology -free brochures -tiny Joseph smith - we walked in expecting very little, we left levitating full of the spirit. Inspired, moved, educated. We definitely felt the presence of the early saints there. If anyone is asking themselves “should I go there?” The simple and clear answer is yes. Always and forever. With lots of love, for the museum and Levi, A.S. D.F. T.C. A.D.

I learned so much about the earliest pioneers of Mexico. And also the first Spanish Speaking missionaries. I served in Chile many years ago and I felt so grateful for the sacrifices and work that made the translation of the Book of Mormon into Spanish. This place is a must see. And take your time, it’s well worth it.

Even if the Mormon's were at all involved with and/or in any actual Mexican history WHY? It seems like the chruch is grasping at straws to appear more ethnically diverse than they are. My question though, is why? and what purpose is this here?

"The museum is a legacy left by my Paternal Grandmother Genoveva and her family for future generations to enjoy," says Fernando R. Gomez. Her daughter, Consuelo, educated as a teacher, put together a humble but special collection that he and his wife Enriqueta were challenged to preserve. https://www.latinmormonhistory.com/
