You need to call the airport. But they do have people who drive large carts around to take people from one spot to another.
You can contact the airlines for assistance between gates. They'll be happy to assist you between gates.
Upon check in at airport, request wheelchair/transport assistance. They will transport you to gate, and assist you with boarding, and request it for your connecting flight as well.
Cape Air flies out of Terminal 1 Gate C. Usually out of gates C2-C8. There are assistants that push wheelchairs that will help get you through the TSA checkpoints and take you directly to the departure gate. I work as TSA officer at Lambert.
