I have been sick with espisiodes of COPD, Recently got out of the hospital. I could not get my recertification in before the expired date. I have call the number, they are not excepting calls, the office is packed. Now what, do I do.????

What I've had to do is go there right when they open. Wait time is expected. I got my application filled it out turned it in and went in the next day when they opened to do my interview.

Unfortunately, those are your only options. Montana as a whole, and flathead county in particular are experiencing record-breaking volumes of new clients. Your best bet is to go in to your local office while you are calling on the phoneand be prepared to wait for 5 to 6 hours. Thankfully, the governor allocated some budget surplus to DPHHS, and at least Flathead County will be fully staffed with intake workers by mid December, which will hopefully mean less wait times. The phone in system is getting a re boot as well in that time frame and "should" operate more efficiently then. Sorry I can't give you a better answer!
