Yes you can. There are picnic tables outside at the entrance to sit and eat on days when it is not in the 100's. You cannot take any food outside where the birds are in the back. We had bought snacks from the snack bar and she told us to not go outside with the birds because they'd attack our food.
I'm not sure if you can or not there's certain rooms you go in where the birds come and eat and they have their only on a certain diet and then there's other places where you feed the fish and they're on a certain diet so there's a sand pit in there where the kids can play they might be able to eat something in the sand pit where they play but that's all I know
