4 stars based off of a general admission trip. Did not purchase the Dolphins, Otters, or Seatrek events. Overall a good experience. Check out the alligator decorations

Yes! This place has plenty of ramps to get around the various exhibits and wide walkways.
I think u can look it up on there site.. bc I think its different from week to week
Yes, everything at the Mississippi Aquarium is handicap accessible.
Get a coast pass and visit several attractions to make the Aquarium cost effective. We paid $35 each for passes and visited two museums and then the aquarium and that was definitely worth it. The aquarium alone is not quite worth the admission price (and free parking is another challenge)
There is bus parking out front available, I'm sure you could use that
Most of it is outside
Yes, there will be a cafe at the Aquarium! Stay tuned for more details and thank you for your support!

No. No. Think about it. There are hundreds of people and hundreds of animals there. No
2 Seinors was right at $50 but don't forget the $14+ parking fee. Henry Dorley Zoo in NE is world class, cheaper, and you can see 100 times the fish, birds, and animals.
I didn't see any pets while I was there...a phone call to them is a good idea!
Go to Dauphin Island if you want to see Dolphins! They will be in the gulf of Mexico jumping and playing in the open water where they should be.
You can spend a couple of hours and see most everything, or take your time and stay all day. You're allowed to exit and return, so we left for lunch and spent the afternoon revisiting exhibits. The "touch tanks" for sea creatures was great for the kids, and the dolphin tank was one of our favorites
You can go to their web site to see, but adults are $29.95 and children 4-13 it's $26.95.
Yes, on the first floor of the parking garage close to the entrance walkway.
Yes they are. there were 4 when we went on 12/31. if you bring a black umbrella to stand under they will come right up to you.
We are open seven days a week from 10 am – 5 pm. Last entry at 4 pm
Online tickets are sold out but we are welcoming walk-ups! Due to Covid-19 we have to limit our capacity and are closely monitoring our online ticket sales. That being said, we encourage you to come and we will do our best to accommodate you. Or you can become a member and explore at any time, no reservations required. tickets.msaquarium.org
Refunds or rain checks will not be given due to inclement weather. We recommend buying a membership so you can come to explore it at any time!
$29.95 - Adult Admission (Ages 13 and up) $24.95 - Child Admission (Ages 3-12) $26.95 - Senior (Ages 65 and up) *Children 2 and under receive free admission 10% off discount for Military families with valid ID
Mississippi Aquarium opened on August 29, 2020.
Yes but you have to pay for it. The parking garage is ran by a separate company CTA (coast transit authority) Not sure of the prices...
My question is do you have scooters to rent?
Yes, most of the attractions are located inside buildings so slight rain won't effect your trip. The alligators, crocodiles, aviary, otters and some fish species make up the outside ascetic of the aquarium but a poncho or small umbrella would assist with that. As far as I know, only a legitimate storm or hurricane would close the property.
Mississippi Aquarium IS CLOSED TODAY AND TOMORROW. For those who have pre-purchased tickets for these days, please visit https://www.msaquarium.org/weather-updates to reschedule. Rest assured, our team has been working hard all season to prepare for potential storms and our animals are in great hands. Thank you all for your continued support and please stay safe.
No. the great and friendly staff which are at the aquarium they have a separate ticket booth for people who have spontaneous urge to go see the aquarium so feel free to drop in and it's easy to buy a ticket
