The oldest tombstone in the cemetery dates to 1777 and belongs to John Gardner. At the time, the church was then known as the Second Independent Church of Charleston and was Congregationalist. Aliix Plaxco, member and Docent, Unitarian Church of Charleston

I would go with Aliix. But you can probably Google it. But there is a cemetery in North Charleston that is not only old, but has the most unique grave markers. Just gotta be careful cause it's North Charleston

Tough one. You'd probably have to contact the church directly. Many of the headstones are so old and faded that they are difficult to read.
