I am admittedly squeamish and cowardly where doctors and procedures are concerned, but it was a piece of cake. I had been putting it off for as long as I could, but if I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have put it off for so long. Put your mind at ease. I am brand new to this practice and couldn't be more pleased with my treatment.
By the time they sedate you, you will be waking up not remember when they started. No pain, they make you feel like you're in Great hands and you are! WHat does it consist of. You show up, they verify who you are, in the prep room you put on your hospital gown, they get you ready by giving you an I've of saline, they wheel you into the room where the procedure is. The doc confirms you are who you say you are, when they are ready to start you are sedated. You can find out much more, just Google it. Nothing to worry about, its pretty FAST, because your sleep during the procedure. I hope this helps.
