A man by the last name of Roebling . they actually have a street named after him, Roebling street .Mr. Roebling designed the bridge , but many workers from around the world and all over the United States were employed to make the bridge and build it .
The Brooklyn Bridge was not made by John A.Roebling's daughter. Emily Roebling was the wife of Washington Roebling who was the engineer who oversaw construction of the bridge after his father died from tetnus, then ( in the 1800's ) called lockjaw. After Washington Roebling was disabled from a construction accident, and was unable to visit the site, his wife would carry his instructions to the site.

John roebling designed the bridge and his son Washington roebling was the chief engineer and was in charge of building the actual bridge. It was John roebling's daughter-in-law, Emily who took over when Washington was disabled
