My daughter is 18 and has graduated. Why am I still paying child support? I owe no arrears.

Because you are afraid. What charge can they press? They can't.

Just go to juvie court to stop it. I'm having to do this in order for it to stop. Really shouldn't have to be so not picking (the courts) I thought I was done when I provided the proof that they asked for(child support)but still have to file at juvie court to have it stopped. It didn't cost to file but still have to wait 2 months to get a date. Mine is 18 and his dad didn't get PC from when the close down so doesn't have enough credits to graduate and didn't say anything till he showed up from graduation ( Rutherford county). So I'm trying to get my son his GED ( Davidson county/metro) and having problems with getting that done. Hopefully that helps someone without all the time and buses.
