OK so they put me in an area that I begged them not to a townhouse with an electric bill and a water bill I had to keep up the MaintenanceAs far as keeping the grass cutThat was kinda hard on me as wellBut overall I was scared to bring my daughterTo the neighborhood because of all the violence and gun shootingAndI went through Safe Haven because I'm a battered woman and the landlord was very mean I thought maybe he was racist and after I graduated from Safe haven's program I lost everything the house my section 8 voucher and now I'm back with my abuser

If you don't have kids you're out of luck.

I was very impressed with staff there, I would call and pose your question before showing up with your items.
They don't help single persons u less you have a child I was there a couple years ago they are caring and very helpful
Safe Haven takes in families, with adults and children, who are experiencing homelessness. They do not however have a space for singles or couples without children.
Yes. Also, they partnered with ThriftSmart on Nolensville Rd. When you donate there, tell them it's for Safe Haven. Families receive vouchers for those items.
Yes yall can
The family does get to stay together. Before a family is given a room, they must be placed on the waiting list through the Coordinated Entry System, the family has to be 100% homeless or facing eviction, as well as residing in Davidson County. I hope this helps.
Yes
They like to keep families together, but call them to make sure they have availability and to also pose your question.
From my understanding they do.
No this is for survivors of domestic violence.
Nope, no fee
Yes, they take in family units
I saw your post about pediatricians at Meharry for your son. Switch to Dr Dontal Johnson there. He's the best with children and he cares!
Im not sure. you may have to donate them for distribution because of privacy laws
Have you called there? Go to the salvation army they may be able to help. You have to pass a drug test and a background check, for safe haven.
Safe Haven accepts single mothers/fathers as well as families with children. Single adults can do to the Rescue Missions without being in Coordinated Entry.
They are located on 3rd Avenue South
Safe haven shelter
What's the question? Do they accept families? If so yes they do but dont expect much help. If you can get everything you need in order quickly it's a good place but if you have any trouble finding a job, transportation after you leave etc. They basically just drop you on your head.
I dont know ..You probably need to call them..I have took clothes there..But dont know anything else
Get in touch with Catholic charities they may be able to assist you.
We are living in our car. So no. Not couch surfing. And also no. Neither of us go to church or know of any churches to ask. I would not know how to ask any churches anyhow.
Yes just contact them. They are very resourceful.
Does the shelter provide towels and wash rags and help with baby's if the parent trying to work
At one time we did direct referrals by calling us now all referrals go through Department of Human Services but we do not allow animals at Safe Haven family shelter the animals may be able to go into a shelter temporarily but it's a definite that you and your husband will be eligible to come to Safe Haven family shelter but we do not accept animals with the families
No, Safe Haven only takes in families with adults and children
