Made an appointment and still waiting 40 mins later to see the optician. Optician’s assistant is unapologetic when I mentioned that I have another doctors appointment in 2 hours. This place is not for busy professionals that book time for all their errands on a Saturday/Sunday. No respect for anyone else’s time.

09/26/2022 Poor Non- attentive Customer Service / Sales Representative with an unhealthy Diva Attitude. 13 days after placing an in-store order of a prescribed pair of eyeglasses with this Cohen location (400 West 42nd St, NY) ; I decided to call my insurance because usually my bifocal glasses are done in no more than a week. When I finally spoke with a customer service from my insurance it was very frustrating, disappointing and upsetting to find out that they were no records to be found of Cohen's placing the order ever. The worst thing is that periodically within those 13 days several calls were made to Cohen Optical on my behalf to make sure they were on top of the details in regards to my order..... their response coming out of their mouth was always " THE INSURANCE HAS NOT SENT THE FRAMES YET.... YOU WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN THE FRAMES ARRIVED". What a shameless careless service!!!!!!!! Do yourself in favor take your business somewhere else to prevent neglicence and lies told straight to your face as part of their historical "so they say" outstanding eye medical attention. No times for elaborated lies. They mess it up big time!!!!! _______________________________________________________________ 09/26/2022 Poor customer service / "Sales representatives have a superiority complex, they behave as if they are doing customers a favor by being served" 13 days after personally ordering a pair of prescription eyeglasses/eyeglasses/eyeglasses from the Cohen Optical store (through my health insurance), I decided to call my health insurance customer service for the unusual 13 day delay with no provide me with my glasses/glasses/eyeglasses; I realize that "Cohen optician never placed the order for my lenses/glasses/eyeglasses." The worst thing about this negligence to comply with the agreement when ordering the lenses/glasses/eyeglasses (delivering them to me in a period of "8 to 10 days") is that during those 13 days; Several calls were made to the optical from me to make sure they were pending my order. The answer I always got from Cohen salespeople during my follow-up calls to my order was "INSURANCE HAS NOT SHIPPED THE LENSES/GLASSES/GLASSES AND YOU WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN THE LENSES/GLASSES/GLASSES ARE RECEIVED." What impudence, carelessness and bad faith in manipulating the situation at will and repeating something that was never done and therefore my insurance company was never going to comply !!!!!!!!!! . Avoid passing this negligent service and lies told as blatantly as possible to one's face; Consider giving business to another optician where you really care about the health of your eyesight, be responsible with your word and recognize with your good attention that today more than ever the business in these difficult times is possible for the benefit of the consumer. Do not be part of the lie that they themselves believe and are proud to say "a service with historically recognized unique medical care." Messrs. Cohen and sales staff "enough of lies and unfounded excuses that not only play with the health of the consumer but also waste one's time by delaying the necessary medical care of one's eyes"

GM...The store is open every day at least Mon to Sat call them is easier and faster google the number...I went to pick up my lenses that I ordered before this mess, I didn't have appointment (weren't ready but, they going to send them to my home)👍
