I went to the church the other day in the early afternoon and the doors were locked. I can't recall a time in the middle of the day when the church was locked. Is this something new and if so what hours will it be open? Thank you

I went to that church for years and never knew it to be open in the middle of the day. They lock everything up after the last mass of the day, about 20 minutes or so after everyone leaves. If they leave the church open, when nobody is around, to come in and pray by themselves or light a candle, you might get people vandalizing the place or some such thing.

Unfortunately, the church is locked during the day due to a few robberies. It's very that people would be like that.

Wow I've gone there many, many times during the day to pray and sometimes just sit and think or, yes, light a candle. I was baptized there 61 years ago. Went to the school too

Yes the church is locked during the day If you have questions you can go to the office and they will be able to answer any questions. Just knock on the door.

Most churches unfortunately do not leave the door open any longer. Due to high vandalism in churches! The hours are posted. God Bless our world we live in!
