It's not really an entrance. There's a trail that takes off from the South end of the business parking lot at 80th & Kipling. West Side Trail - you can hike in from there. Look for the little wooden bridge and the sign in the field.
I haven't seen it closed on weekends. The website says the East Entrance is closed but I have been there recently and it was open.
I don't think that there is one, I will try to find out.
They do have volunteers, but not usually as Docents.
