The exhibit is located in an old shipping warehouse so its not really located in a touristy part of the city.
No, but there are plenty if taxi's that will bring you anywhere in the city you desire.
The exhibit is within walking distance to Chinatown and Little Italy.
It's a 5-10 minute walk from the metro station, and there were a few places to eat near there.
There is a fried ice-cream place we went to called Sams fried ice-cream. A little bit of a walk but so worth it!
The area surrounding it felt mostly residential, so I didn't see any restaurants or such. That said, there is a small (and very cool looking) cafe in the Immersive Van Gogh gift shop which offers smaller snacks, drinks, and Van Gogh cookies.
