Children ages are 2 through 12. Prices for adults in 3D movies are $12.99 and children are $11.49. For other movies it's adults $9.49 and children $7.99
@Kayy Green Tickets there are $8.99 for anyone respectively and, for this summer, kids tickets to a kid friendly movie with the purchase of a kids pack is $4.00 plus tax.

If you go online and become a AMC rewards member it's $6 all day long on Tuesdays. And if you order tickets online they wave the fees. And you get discounts on food and movies with their point system. It's totally worth it.
Usually if u go to first showings the price is ( may still be) $6 per person.
