I am from Afghanistan and holder of green card, I want to go to Afghanistan from Seattle WA to Islamabad and taking the PIA flight to Kabul. So my question is that do I need visa for this trip or not. I am using the airport just for transit to Kabul

You can contact the embassy by their timings otherwise in my opinion, I don't think so because if you are taking connecting flight then you don't need to have visa and if you want to visit outside of airport then you definitely need a visa according to the law.
