If you are puting dogs to sleep because you have to many why not lower your prices so seniors can afford to adopt some puppies or small dogs. I love to habe two small dogs since mine have pass away.

The Charlottesville Albemarle spca is a NO kill facility 24/7/365! They just finished a week long offering where people could choose a pet and pay whatever they want.

the CASPCA is a no kill shelter ... they do offer special adoption prices from time to time ... I personally like your suggestion to lower prices for seniors since quite a number are on fixed incomes ... the disabled are as well and its been my personal experience that seniors and the disabled thrive with fur companions ... however ... they do want and need to assure their animals are being adopted to furever homes that can afford to provide for their care ... so I understand their reasoning behind most of their rules and guidelines ... hope this clarifies some things for you and perhaps they will consider discounted adoption fees for us 😉
