Unless she is a danger to herself or others there's not much u can do. Is assuming she is a adult . Getting a court order is a very huge process be u have to prove things. As I said the has to be a danger .. the cops even let it go so it may not get very far. I reported a friend and all they did was ask her if she wasn't taking her meds she denied it and they dropped it... It's frustrating to see that I know but u can't force someone. I urge u to go talk to a professional if u r really that concerned. They can guide u in the proper direction on this..
They are going to have to want the help. U cant force anyone to stay in a rehab or hospital. The courts can or if they r on probation a p o can but that might end them in jail. Then they will end up hating u. Talk to them let them know u care and will b there for them during there stay and after if u r going to be but in no expert reasearch ur options i really dont know but am pretty sure u cant force anyone to do anything like that. Research is ur best answer or ask a
You have to file a petition through AZ family court, and need two family members to sign the forms. Then they must be determined by the court to be a danger to themselves or others. It's a process that your loved one's caseworker can help with. But understand this: once you have them in court ordered treatment they become wards of the state, and will only be realeased from treatment with thier doctor's recommendation and court approval.
