So the CASS Homeless Shelter is located at or near 12th Ave & Jefferson St. The Valley Metro Transit system will get you or whoever to Downtown Phoenix Central bus station. From there the Dash Government city bus will drop off practically outside the shelter. A Arizona Licence or state ID is required. The best time to be at the shelter is 9am in order to get a bed.

You don't need money to get in. In fact, it's the exact opposite. However you will need money to get the hell out. The DASH bus runs in a constant circle and passes by Central Station along with other stops and also goes by CASS. It is free.
