To remember / learn about history. My family generations ago owned the land and taveran. That once was active way back when. Whithout history and remembering and respecting what once was and what shaped civilization and what we have today.

The visitor center has a wealth of information about why this is worthy of a visit.
There is not a war going on now at Ft. Necessity which makes it a nice place to visit. It's very beautiful there.
History is important! Maybe we can learn from our mistakes, make our futures better for our children's children.
