We had a relaxing stay at Buzzards Cabin. The hot tub was a great feature. We also enjoyed the fire pit. We planned ahead and brought our own wood since it’s not supplied. The location is in a quiet and secluded location where you can hear the stream running. A nice get away location. I do have to complain about the bed, though. There’s a guest book at the cabin and many have commented on how terrible the mattress is… you’d think with several complaints they’d spend some money and get a new mattress and boxsprings. The foam topper is awful. My husband and I rolled into the middle of the bed which is also on a slant. We hardly slept at night. It rained before we got to the cabin. The picnic table was in a mud hole. Grass or gravel would have helped to keep mud being tracked everywhere. We probably won’t return to this cabin but may check out another one at a later date.

I made a booking through tripadvisor for the Schaefer House run and managed by this rental company. The booking agreement stated that pets are allowed in the total fee for the booking, so I was happy to hear that and made the booking through tripadvisor. After I made the booking, Ohiopyle sent me a message requesting an additional $50 per pet. When I told them I no longer wanted to rent the house because of the hidden fees outside of the original contract, they told me it would be a $199 cancellation fee on a $720 reservation. I still have not gotten my money back, and I would highly recommend to avoid this rental company altogether since their customer service is terrible and you likely will inquire additional hidden fees if you book through them or through a third party site they use for bookings.

I've stayed at the Laurel View Retreat for 4 consecutive years and the cabin gets nicer and nicer every year. It's an absolutely gorgeous location, they've got an incredible layout, so much space for even the largest groups and it's a place I'm positive we'll continue to book for years to come. Tons of places to sit, sleep, have fun--hot tub, pool table, enormous tv, etc. This place had it all. Customer service with OVR has always been excellent as well.

I recently booked a house with this company for the first time. Unfortunately the house we booked was going to be under construction for the summer so the company offered us a few other houses to make up for the loss of the other. We ended up getting this huge house that slept 22 people I believe. 13 people committed to the weekend getaway but we ended up have 4 bedrooms open although we were thrilled to have all the extra space & all the extra amenities that came included! Next year I will be inviting more friends. I couldn't have been more happy with this trip & the booking! The staff was so friendly & they really did a wonderful job at making sure I was pleased about my purchase. I will definitely be renting another house next year. They made it so easy by emailing me everything & when reaching out to the company, you always get a live person answering the phones & helping you with anything you needed. Thank you again for the easy experience with working with you guys! I am more than pleased with your efforts in making our stay wonderful :)
