We have a 28' camper and the site was very difficult to set up on! To much of a grade, couldn't get the camper high enough to make it level! Not really a good picnic area, but we had fun with the family the views were great and the staff was good!

Had a VERY relaxing stay in one of the lodge rooms. Wife and I visited to see the area and look for a future vacation spot with our grown children. Very happy we found it!!

I love raystown with my whole soul. I was kinda disappointed by the raystown resort cabins though. They were being completely taken over by carpenter bees and wasps. We could not even stand on the porch during the day due to the bees wanting to thrown down the entire time. The wasps were INSIDE the cabin. I wasn't a fan of the bunkbed being next to the front door instead of in a room where it would be safer to keep sleeping children. My kids enjoyed the freezing cold Beach water. I found a weird water bug. Lots of ducks and geese. Kill deer birds. Crows. Chipmunks. Bunnies. A big beautiful orb weaver on the cabin. Despite this I did enjoy my time here. I was just surprised that the cabins were no where near what I've experienced at other cabin rentals. I will continue to return to seven points and trough though 💜

It was a beautiful and relaxing environment. Although it was cold and we got a surprise snow, we enjoyed our RV stay and plan on returning! Every staff member that we encountered was friendly and helpful. We ate dinner one evening at the Marina Cafe and give it 5 stars. Our dinner (Easter special) was simply delicious.

Yes plus tatman run nearby but you can swim the whole lake - its kinda slippery at the resort beach
Firewood available along Little Valley Road just below Brode Lumber Inc.
Yes, at your campsite, not in common areas.
They do not have a public picnic area, but there are a few grills around the lodge and you could probably use one on an unused campsite which are usually up top on the hill
Yes. You're also required to have a life jacket and a whistle.
People were riding rafts and swimming in coves. The beach area we only saw people in water with their boats.
