Amazing place to know the American History. This is a place where Washington lost his battle to British and French troops. Excellent visitor center with complete information regarding the place. Watch a free movie in theater regarding the history of Fort Necessity. By the way, don't forget to get your free passport stamp souvenir when you are there.

George frickin Washington, learned where it all started. Must visit Park if you're in the area to learn and feel what it was like for GW to experience and then have it form what we call American today. We around the park and explored the area where the French marched and how close they all were and didn't even know it. Found a piece of history walking around the paths to find what I hope is a lead bullet but it's prob a stone or maybe meteorite per google lens. Or just a cool wish it was from a park. 😆

Perfect to spend a few hours. The visitors center is great with lots of information. Play ground for kids outside and picnic tables. The fort is a short walk and trails up to the tavern.

We went toward the end of the day and it was great because it was only the 2 of us. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable, also very accomodating. The history of the area is extremely interesting.

George Washington. It was his first battle as a commander, and also his first loss.
