Agreed. If you have their system they will give extra cable as needed
They will give you wire if you go in and get an extra cable box or something that needs set-up, but yeah they wont just give you wire alone.
If you have a serviceman come to your house and set a box up, they will include wire. But I don't think they will just give cable out for free
