This store has the most incompetent service. I ordered a modem and cable box on-line and wanted to install it myself. I had to drive 45 minutes from my house to pick up the equipment because I don't want to wait for it to be shipped by mail. I got to the store yesterday & they are telling me to wait in line to pick up an on-line order. Keeping in mind, I don't have time to wait. I was stopping in the store on my way somewhere else. I call to complain. I am told this is the only store with equipment, but that when I go tomorrow I won't have to wait. Again, it is an on-line order. Today, I was told I must wait in-line. My wait time was half-an-hour because I am behind other people who are shopping. What is the purpose of shopping on-line if Comcast doesn't have on-line order pick-up station in their stores? By the way, when they say you could have scheduled an appointment, well, that would have been a nice text message to receive instead of your order is ready. It would have saved a 45 minute car drive.

I have no issue with customer service. I do have an issue that even before Covid2 they tried to blame the constant price increases on taxes. Little did the rep know I save all my bills for a minimum of 2 years and took the time to see where the actual issue was and it was the constant increase in FORCED equipment rental fees. Yes you can buy your own router but not everyone has up front money. If it wasn't for internet I wouldn't even need xfinity because I don't really watch tv any more.

Was told by rep that srvc is not available in Reading, PA. I almost went with v*****n.....ugh!!! Thank God I called Comcast and the knowledgeable rep corrected the previous reps misstatements.

With digital cable noise should never be a problem. As noted, a loose connection or ground can cause interrupts in the picture or pixeling. Somewhere on your cable line you need a new cable connector to be installed. You might have to pay for a service call from your cable service company.
$40 a month to start then goes to $50 a month. Higher speeds cost more.

You have to ask the employees working. Maybe it's a subscription/connection issue.
