That has nothing to do with it . They are strict on that because if they weren't then they would have to bend the rules for everyone. Trust me I was there in March. That is the best place for help if your on the streets . Yes they are strict but they do more for you than. Any other place will . Just make sure your in line for lunch and follow the rules and do everything they say and you will ha e your own place very soon .
They very LGBT friendly...probably the most of any place. The meals are served by volunteers from different organizations...so you being seven minutes late would displaced the volunteers. If you were sick with nausea...going to Parkland would have probably benefit you, they maybe could have gotten you something to eat.
