Family Gateway would be your best option. I have stayed at the Dallas life Foundation as well it is full of black mold that is very noticeable. And if it were me I would never bring my children around the criminal element that surrounds the Salvation Army.

The bridge is also another place

Family Gateway Shelter, Salvation Army or Dallas Life Foundation. Those 3 I know for sure, but I'm not sure if children stay with the mother or father. You can call them to find out. You can also Google shelters that accept children also. Hope that helps.
