Everyone has to be approved. I had a Dr. Letter stating I needed help 24 hours a day after I had a stroke. When I got better then my daughter no longer stayed. Everything needs approval. Every case is different. Just ask anything you want and be honest. They are there to help us if you live in a house I'm sure it would be different. Where I live only couples and singles may live here since its a one bedroom.
I'm on Section 8. Contact your Section 8 worker. You do not need to say...until he gets a job and a home. Just inform your worker you want your son to live with you and would like him added to the case. Since he is 18, he is a legal adult and will need to be approved just like you were. It's a quick, simple process. It's so Kool of you to take your child in(our kids are always n forever will b our kids, (even if adults), lol, especially if he's down on his luck.
Yes he just gets put onto your case and has to sign paperwork
