When someone joins the program or stays at Dallas LIFE, It costs them $29.75 every day to keep someone and they receive no money for that person being in the program from anywhere. If someone has income then they pay only $12 a night which doesn't cover the cost but it does help with accountability for that person and paying something towards their stay. This helps people get back into the habit of paying bills and rent for when they leave Dallas life. If someone has no income then the program is free for them. If someone does not want to join the program and just stay then they must pay the $12 night, only the program is free with no income. Dallas LIFE has donors who help pay the rest of the costs.
Good question when I was there they put me out because I didn't even have money now what kind of shelter is that it's supposed to help people in need not put them out because they don't have any money
