How do I get help for someone in jail who is legally blind and has taken several blows to eye area causing what little vision they had to become severely distorted

I don't exactly know where you would go to get services for someone in jail but I have heard of people in jail receiving services. I think the teachers at the society for the blind would be a good start. If they can't they would probably know who could. The California Department of Rehabilitation blind Services would be another place to look. Project rebound is a group that works with people who are still in prison and out on parole getting college education. They might know some Services too.

They need to have a medical evaluation/optimal logical evaluation to see if a retinal detachment has occurred.
